After searching through my images and producing additional sketches and character designers as well as a 3D model I have uploaded the majority of my work done at home onto my portfolio, although the majority of these have been done traditionally they still show my art style and how I transfer my skills from digital to traditional. Whilst 3D is not my specialization and is one of my weakest areas I have still included a model I created for the summer task within my portfolio as it shows that although I am a 2D artist I have stretched out and practiced other pathways showing those who view my portfolio that I am not anchored down to just one sector. What the average viewer of my portfolio can take from these images is that they understand I am a character designer that focuses on creating science fiction and medieval characters giving them insight to what my future work on Artstation may hold.

In this art piece I am presenting a personal project that I worked on outside of lesson hours where I experimented with utilising different tools of photoshop such as the brightness and contrast levels to create a dark and captivating image, at the time of creating this art piece the mixer brush tool had not come to my mind and so I have worked on it mixing the colours together myself without creating a disorganised mess. To start off the creation of this image I first viewed a reference that gave me an insight into what I wanted to create which I then followed through with producing a rough outline before going over it one more time whilst implementing any detail that I felt necessary. In the outcome I have gotten a suitable art piece that I can present on my portfolio for my audience and those who follow me to look at.

This drawing is another personal project that I worked on and was inspired by the upcoming cyberpunk themed project which I decided to do a rough warm up for whilst I also decided not to keep the line art present on the product after I have textured as I would like to experiment with just letting the texture present the product in whole form.

In this personal project that I have produced for my portfolio I worked on creating this tropical parrot as at the time I was wanting to experiment with creating a diverse range of characters and creatures and decided to work on birds, this art piece was produced on krita and revolved around me using special effect brushes that added in the bright shadowing as well as the confetti seen around the parrot, this art piece is one that I enjoy viewing as It shows the time when I produced a vibrant and creative art piece where I tried to do something different.

On my portfolio I have included a vast amount of my traditional 2D drawings, some of my best artwork has been produced on paper as I have always found it more comfortable to draw on paper as I feel as if I have more control over what is imprinted on the paper and for this image I have sketched out 2 alien heads through starting off with simple shapes that I have then built up with detail and then shaded in once I got an appearance that I was pleased with. These two designs have been uploaded to show that I can develop a duo of concepts that differ from one another whilst staying within the same theme and serve as a good reference for ideas generation and final product design.

This art piece that I have uploaded onto my portfolio showcases a creature named Artyom that I have created using the vector shapes available on photoshop and during the development of this creature I followed a highly informative video on youtube that has increased my knowledge of layers on photoshop so that I can now effectively use the layer special effects to implement an outer glow effect that brings life to my creations, this art piece is one of my favourites and has been uploaded to show that I am experimenting with multiple art styles and that I am open to developing my concepts further using different methods of creation on photoshop.

Once again the most common form of art present on my portfolio is 2D traditional and in this image I am showcasing a personal session I did for myself where I viewed multiple references and guides online where I focused on sketching simple skulls and implementing detail on them after I have sketched them. Some of the skulls I have drawn have their own custom features such as a face plate and a crown whilst others have increased facial proportions such as large eye sockets and a smaller than normal nose and these sketches have all been uploaded to showcase what I am learning and what I am focusing on in my art work.

Over Halloween I felt the urge to create some art focused around the season and so my initial idea for this sketch was to design a floating wizard with a long bush beard with a spider symbol on his pointy hat but as seen this has not gone down that way and has instead evolved into martian wizard and this has happened because of the way my drawing developed because as I designed the wizard I realized my idea wasn’t going to appear the way I wanted it to and so I have made multiple alterations that have instead changed it into a martian and after this was done I have uploaded it onto my portfolio for my audience to give me feedback and enjoy viewing a personal that I have created just for fun in my own time.

This shows another 2D traditional sketch that I have uploaded to my portfolio and is a sketch that I have produced from looking at a reference showing a monster that is present in the game Witcher 3 Wild Hunt as I was playing the game a lot around this time and wanted to do a sketch around a certain monster that serves as an opponent in the title.

This is another head of an alien that I have sketched though this time using my own personal drawing tablet at home using the software krita, after texturing adding in the details that I wanted I have uploaded this sketch to my portfolio where I can recieve online feedback for it on what I can do to improve.
