Cyberpunk Outlaw

This image presents the final product of my Cyberpunk Outlaw and is my favourite from the 3 character designs that I have produced, to inspire this design I used what I learnt during my ideas generation to apply detail and texture to this character which has led to an outcome that I am happy with. What I like about this character is how I have designed the jacket they are wearing as well as the hood that has covered the head of the outlaw which I decided to implement as I have not been confident in my ability draw hair and apply texture to it and adding a hood to this design was my way of working around that issue without causing a lack of detail in the design, alongside this I am also pleased with how I have created a series of undercoats that are present above the belt that the outlaw is wearing, these were inspired by the reference that I have used to that has also helped me with getting the correct proportions and stature of this character. Overall despite some difficulties I encountered with the hands and feet I am happy with this design and pleased with the texture that I have applied to it as well as the way in which I have presented the design with a light int the center behind the outlaw with the title of the project in the top left corner.
Cyberpunk Cyborg #1

For my second character design I worked on producing a cyborg and this design is the one that I dont believe works as well as the others although despite my thoughts on this I have fit it within the theme by using a suitable texture that is vibrant as well as gritty and dark which conveys the cyberpunk theme in an realistic fashion. What went well during the production of this design was the process of sketching an outline which gave me the proportions and figure scale that I needed to follow so that I could get a successful outcome. After applying the texture and using a variety of colours to make this cyborg look as punkish as possible I have laid out a darkened background with an orange light in the center to add atmosphere whilst I have also added the title of the project once again in the upper left corner.
Cyberpunk Cyborg #2

For my final character design I produced a 2nd concept of my cyberpunk cyborg as I wanted to further improve on my previous design as there multiple features I failed to add such as a skull mask which is one feature I have been wanting to experiment with as at home I have had my own personal sessions that I spent sketching human skulls and so I have implemented what I learnt during those sessions onto this character design as a mask which appeals to me as the expression I have given it suits the character and looks good in proportion and can be easily identified as a mask which is what I was aiming for whilst to make the mask look stylish and unique I have made the teeth gold and given the mask a yellow tint to make it look smooth and metallic. Elsewhere on this design I have given a warm fire like texture to my characters cape which I have produced through using the mixer brush tool whilst the rest of my design I have produced through using multiple metallic tones and bright colours to make this character stand out and fit well into the the Cyberpunk theme.
Cyberpunk Drone

Out of the 2 asset designs I have done producing this drone was the one where I have had the most enjoyment as this design was easy for me to sketch and implement detail to and gave me a clear idea of how I wanted to texture and whilst I had help from a reference which inspired the structure of this machine I have added in many areas that make it stand out and look intimidating such as the screen and camera on the front of the drone which I have added illumination to by using the dodge tool which allowed me to add lighting to certain areas of this image. To implement the metallic texture onto this drone I used multiple tones of grey and white that I have overlapped before sketching over it with the dodge tool to add in a shine that makes the drone look more realistic. Overall after spending multiple sessions working on the texture for this product I am happy with how it has turned out as during the ideas generation process of this project I had concerns about how I was going to structure the drone but despite those concerns I have worked hard on this concept and produced an outcome that reflects what I learn during the previous sessions.
Cyberpunk Hoverboard

For my final asset design for the cyberpunk project I have produced a hoverboard and for this design I have angled it so that the viewer has a clear perspective of this hoverboard so that they can view it in detail and this design is one of my favorites from what I’ve produced. To start off with this design I produced a sketch after looking at a reference and designed the sketch in the perspective seen in the image above, after producing this sketch I then went over it and gave it a clear outline that is more visible and neat than the sketch that I did previously, I have also added in multiple features that make this hoverboard look unique and fashionable. For the texture I really wanted to make this hover board stand out and illuminate the area it is used in and so I have used bright and medium tones of a wide array of colours for my texture. After applying this texture I have then designed the background by adjusting the hue to a more darkened appearance and then once again placing a white light in the center behind the hoverboard to light it up and add in the Cyberpunk project title in the upper right. For a final feature to this design I have added in orange particles with a blue outer glow around the hoverboard which I have added in to to implement some more atmosphere and finalise this product.
